It's now October, the crickets are now gone, to be replaced by flying black beetles with orange on thier wings.

We are delivering the "Benson" signs this week. Yah!! The agreement was the County pays for the supplies, and I provide the art work. We changed our minds and  decided to fully donate them to the community, supplies and all.  Plus I will keep them maintained over the next few years, free of charge.

We have now added another member to our growing family. During a trip to Regina, we stopped at a pet store, and found a poor sad looking ferret. The petstore told us that some kids dropped him of the day prior. The ferrets tail was broken at the tip, and pretty much bald, except for the odd orange stained hair. His coat was dry and dull. Ears dirty and infected. He was fairly week and skinny with bad teeth on one side of his mouth, we are guessing this is due to an improper diet.  I an thankful the Petstore took him in, rather then send the kids away, cause he surely would have died.We named him "Socky" . He is gaining weight, we treated his ears, his coat is healthier, and his "Rat tail" is finally growing hair. Not only that, he never knew how to play when we first got him, now that's all he want to do. We love him so much and are so thankful to have him.
