Leave it to me, not to say "No". We now have a new addition to our pack. His name is "Rex" and yes he is a Pitbull, and aside from a few dominace issues (which is common in all breeds) , there was no major scraps.  His owner s were having a new baby and traveling often. If we didn't take him, he was headed to the Edmonton S.P.C.A.

Which brings me to a major issue. People that choose to own Pitbulls, need to be prepared to make a Life Long Commitment. Saddly they are the #1 misunderstood and most widely abused breed.  So, chances are, if you are looking to rehome an adult Pitbull, you might as well sign the death certificate. Too many people are under the misconception that they are mindless killers looking to eat women and children. When actually it is quite the opposite, it is in thier bloodlines to be non aggressive towards humans. Think about it, the Dog Fighters wouldn't make money if thier dogs were ripping apart everyone in sight. Any breed of dog can be taught to be human aggressive if it was bred and raised in the under the right (wrong) conditions .

It's equivilent to the Salem Witch Hunts, misinformation, that has branded and further abused that of which we don't understand.
