My Mom whom never asks anything from me, had a request. She asked if I would make Nancy Grace ("Nancy Grace hosts Headline News' legal analysis program, Nancy Grace, on Headline Prime. She is based in CNN's New York bureau. ")  a sign welcoming her twins.

My Mom's letter:

"January 18, 2008

 Crystal I would like to give a gift to Nancy Grace from the heart of one mother to a new mother.

 Could you create a couple of plaques representing “the true gift” that her twins are to the world?    I put all my trust in your intuition but I will give you a brief background on why this creation is so incredible important to me.

 The first time I had the fortune to watch the show; Nancy shared with her audience how crime had touched her life in such a devastating way when her fiancée was killed.  She has used this tragedy in such a proactive way against crime, she does not cuddle criminals and she stands so strongly in crimes against children.

 To me she represents incredible inner strength and the kind of courage & commitment that is necessary to give a voice to the victims seeking for Justice.

 And now, she is a mom, this did not come easy also, she had health problems and one of the twins had health problems also so she has gone through enough personal trials.

 I feel so grateful for the value that Nancy Grace provides to the community and to me she is an inspiration of what we need in Canada.

How could I say "No" So I created one for her daughter and one for her son. They are the same (as they are twins)... yet slightly different (as they are still unique individuals). I also stayed away from making them age specific, so hopefully they will proudly display them well into adulthood. They've been shipped off to New York.... I sure hope she likes them.
