Benson Signs are finally done !! They are going to discuss when they are going to put them up, at the Sept town meeting. I am excited and can't wait until they're up. This has been my biggest project yet.

I was hoping to turn my signs from a hobby to a business, but I think that'll have to wait until late next year. Things have been too crazy busy around here, for me to be able to dedicate full time to making signs. I love it too much to give it up though, so I will continue to do it as a hobby.

I do have to mention though, about mailing prices. I only charge exact or close to mailing prices. I cannot control the mailing prices. For the people that would like the mailing prices included in the signs, please consider this .... I'll use a 16 x 16 sign for example  I charge $65.00  it takes me at least 10 hrs to work on the average sign.  Take away the cost of materials, I'm not even making close to minimum wage on these signs. Now could you imagine if I included shipping? Is my time or my artwork not worth anything ? Especially when these are one of a kind art pieces?

Anyways......Saskatchewan is funny, out of no where we are bombarded by ticks. They were everywhere, on our dogs on our clothes, walking around everywhere....... Then all of a sudden they are gone "poof" , and where the ticks once were, there is black crickets EVERYWHERE. I'm scared, because once the crickets are gone, what's going to take thier place?

Other then that, I have been tempted to start smoking again, due to the fact I've gained wieght since I quit. It's hard to feel healthier, when all you feel is fatter, lol.
