1. Choose your STAIN
2. Choose your FONT
dafont.com is one of my favorite sites for font selection. If
selecting a font from the site, simply choose your font, and
write down the category and font name.
Fonts can also be found in many places, including your
email, word processing, or printing programs.
Wood burned - Etches out the letters by burning the
wood. This is the most popular choice for Stall
Plaques .
This method is also good, because it allows for a more
complex style of lettering.
Disadvantage- Not as noticeable on dark stains or hardy as
the routored letters for outdoor use.
Routored - deeper actually digging the wood out of
the letters. Bolder then wood burning because they
are painted.
This is the recommended choice for signs that are
displayed outdoors.
Disadvantage- somewhat limited by font choice.
Lettering color choice can be:
Black, White, Blue, Brown, Green, Yellow, Red,
Aluminum, baby Blue, baby pink.
GOLD OR SILVER FOILING
Foiling shimmers and shines beautifully. Giving signs an
added elegance. It's hard to capture it's brilliance on camera.
**please note the Gold Foiling is an additional
charge of $1.00 per letter on Stall Plaques $3.00 per
letter on larger signs
